Placement tips
Place the Tulsi (holy basil) plant in the North, North-East, or East zone of the home or compound — it is considered the most sacred plant in Vastu Shastra.
Keep a money plant in the South-East corner of the living room or near the entrance to attract financial abundance.
Bamboo plants (lucky bamboo) are excellent in the East or South-East direction for harmony and positive energy flow.
Jasmine and mogra planted near the North or East entrance attract positive vibrations and calm the household atmosphere.
Do
Water plants regularly and remove dead or wilting leaves immediately, as decaying plant matter creates stagnant energy.
Use flowering plants like jasmine, mogra, or rose in the North-East or East garden to invite divine fragrance and positive vibrations.
Keep indoor plants healthy and thriving; a flourishing plant symbolizes flourishing life-force energy in the home.
Avoid
Avoid keeping cactus, thorny plants, or plants with milky sap (like euphorbia) inside the home, as they generate sharp or heavy energy.
Do not keep bonsai plants inside the home, as they symbolize stunted growth and can suppress the life-force energy of the household.
Never keep dead, dried, or artificial plants in the home, especially in the North-East corner.
